30 day challenge ideas!
We’ve compiled the ultimate list of 30 day challenge ideas. Below are challenges that we’ve: completed, failed, or haven’t tried. Comment with your favorite 30 day challenge and we will add it to the list.

- No eating or drinking out. (Completed November 2017)
- Whole 30 (Completed November/December)
- Using your cellphone as a phone. i.e. only making phone calls (Completed December 2017)
- Read the Bible Daily–using the One Year Bible. (Completed January 2018, Ongoing)
- No alcohol. (Completed two times in 2017)
- Create a product, start an Etsy business in 30 days.
- Post 30 selfies in 30 days.
- Raise money for a cause you support on GoFundme.
- 30 minutes of intentional conversation with spouse.
- Workout for 30 mins daily (Failed in 2011)
- 30 days to start a business. ex. ecommerce store or subscription box.
- 30 days of measuring food–experimenting with portion control.
- No gossiping. (Failed miserably)
- 3hr. daily digital detox, preferably in the evening hours.
- 30 days of thankfulness–post on social media.
- Use Pavlok to break a habit in 30 days. (Completed)
- Complete a major household project.
- Intensively try a new hobby.(Failed July 2015)
- Learn about a subject that interest your spouse.
- 30 days of being a traditional “50’s housewife”
- Become an idea machine: Write down 10 ideas every day.
- Give a bottle of hot sauce to a stranger every day.
- Pick up the house for 30 mins daily (we are the messiest people we know)
- Wear the same outfit for a month.
- Cook meals with 5 ingredients or less.
- Practice Yoga daily. (Completed using Yoga with Adriene’s youtube channel )
- 10 pushups every day.
- Run 1 min, 2 mins, 3mins…30 mins.
- Intentionally PLAY with our son and dog for X amount of time.
- Respond to everyone’s Instagram story for a month.
- Cook my way through an entire cookbook.(Coming Soon!)
- No added sugar for 30 days.
- No social media. (Completed August 2015)
- Go Gluten-free (Our first challenge we did together back in 2011!)
- Go Vegan (Completed September 2015)
- Give up Facebook. (Completed)
- Write a handwritten letter to a different person every day. (Completed 2014)
- Read every day, or finish X amount of books in 30 days. (Completed)
- Have sex with your spouse every day.
- Don’t buy anything on Amazon.
- Give a different person a gift every day.
- Call and talk to one of your parents daily.
- Wake up at earlier, whatever that means to you.
- Create and stick to a morning routine.
- Bring a gift to a different neighbor every day.
- Try “Morning Pages” for a month. Free-write three pages every morning.
- Reconnect or reach out to an old friend daily.
- Only cook dinner with recipes from one cuisine that’s unfamiliar to you.
- Purge: Give away, throw something away, clean out an area every day.
- Getting outside daily–ex. go on a meditative walk.
